Once an Italian songwriter said something like: “I don’t feel Italian, but luckily or unfortunately, it’s what I am”.
To me it’s the same, even if, lately, it’s becoming more and more just an “unfortunate” event, due to the shameful political (but not only) Italian situation.
So, who do I think I am?
Well, we know nobody on the anonymous internet pictures himself as his real self, we are all trying to pretend to be as we would like to be.
I’m Jean-Paul Belmondo. I’m Humphrey Bogart.
I’m Michel Poiccard but I’m also Laszlo Kovacs.
I’m Jean-Luc Godard.
Basically, I’m a fucking handsome and awesome ’60s ganster who does everything he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants, and who doesn’t care about consequences.
And who has a girlfriend that is like the prettiest girl ever.
I do not demand too much. Do I?
Ah, and I would also like to be in black and white, please.

Basically, I’m an Italian translator specialized in translation for dubbing and subtitling, whose dream would be his job would, eventually, become useless.
I just feel there’s a better specific language to say a thing and another language to say something else. The perfect world would be everyone with a babelfish in his ear.
So I will not translate this into Italian even if the most part of this blog is in Italian and this is all clearly Italian-oriented.
Just to warn you dear fellow who is reading this. You could have been able to read all the text so far, but you may not understand many of the posts.
At this time the posts are something like 70% Italian, 25% English, 5% French (which, by the way, I consider my first second language), but I’m planning to expand French-related things.
Plus I’m learning German and I know a bit of Spanish, so who knows?

Well, anyway, everything, here, it’s always a work in progress.
